Alice Kang, Ph.D.

Kang PhotoAlice Kang (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kang has published articles on women and politics in Africa and on gender quotas in Comparative Political Studies, Politics & Gender, and Women’s Studies International Forum. Her book on women’s movements, conservative religious movements, and the state in the Muslim democracy of Niger is under contract with University of Minnesota Press.
